A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool so it can process the request and display results. Grand County Criminal History does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.

Its content identifies access routes at the Grand County Sheriff, Utah Courts, the Utah Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Identification, and the Utah Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry/Notification website. Visitor data is not assembled into criminal profiles or consumer reports. Utah Code §53-10-108 governs BCI dissemination and a person's access to their own Utah record; it does not turn this private reference site into a government repository.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power some search boxes. A query submitted through one of those tools is subject to that company's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Grand County Criminal History cannot control those policies. Review the provider's terms before sending a search.
